Tulip Oil has operation in both The Netherlands and Germany. Our Operations and projects span a wide range of areas at any one time but may include seismic acquisition, exploration or development drilling, prospect and field evaluation studies, project construction, field development execution or production operations.
Tulip Oil Operates a number of fields onshore and offshore in the Netherlands. Its principal asset is the Q10-A Asset which was brought onstream in February 2019, delivering gas to the Dutch gas network. Additionally, seismic acquisition and exploration activities offshore are key areas of focus for the foreseeable future.
Tulip Oil’s 90% subsidiary in Germany, Rhein Petroleum has an interest in and operates a number of onshore fields in Southern Germany, producing mostly oil. In 2012, Rhein Petroleum Shot Europe’s largest ever onshore 3D seismic campaign (750 sq. km in Germany). In the summer of 2019, Rhein Petroleum had a significant discovery at the Steig-1 well and is working to develop this oil field.
